This means your transformer won&amp;rsquo;t be stressed out. We also obsessed over the length. If the tube is too long, it won&amp;rsquo;t fit the sockets. Too short? You get cold spots on your garments. We made sure it fits perfectly.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;What&amp;rsquo;s actually inside&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;We use high-purity quartz glass because these things go through a lot of stress with constant on-off cycles. Inside, the tungsten filament is tuned for shortwave infrared.&#xA;In plain English: the heat hits the ink fast and hard, triggering that chemical bond (polymerization) without cooking the fabric underneath.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;Getting them installed&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;This is the easy part. You can use your existing KTK connectors without hacking away at the housing. It&amp;rsquo;s a simple plug-and-play swap.&#xA;But a quick heads-up: these shortwave lamps put out a lot of heat, very quickly. If you&amp;rsquo;re running them at full blast, take a second to check your exhaust. If the air isn&amp;rsquo;t moving, heat builds up in the housing and your quartz tubes won&amp;rsquo;t last nearly as long.&#xA;And one last tip—**don&amp;rsquo;t touch the glass with your bare hands.**Use a clean, lint-free cloth. The oils from your skin create tiny hot spots on the quartz, and that&amp;rsquo;s usually why a lamp cracks the first time you turn it on.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
